Severn Trent Water is seeking supply chain input ahead of an upcoming tender for the supply of modular treatment equipment consisting of fixed-film biological, preliminary and primary filtration systems with a total estimated value of almost £31 million including VAT.

The water company is looking to tender a multi-Lot framework for the supply (including design, assembly, delivery and cocommissioning)
of modular:
- fixed- film biological equipment
- preliminary treatment equipment
- primary filtration systems equipment
The framework would be delivered through the Severn Trent Water (STW) capital supply chain across AMP8 at multiple sewage treatment works.
The equipment will be bought directly through a STW appointed delivery partner, or directly by the water company and novated to the relevant installation partner.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 27 August 2026 to 27 August 2029 with a further possible extension option up to 27 August 2031.
Severn Trent is keen to engage with interested suppliers to help design and tailor a sourcing strategy and procurement process that meets its requirement but is also suitable to the widest group of suppliers.
