Northern Ireland Water seeks supply chain interest in upcoming M&E Consumables and Sundries procurement

Northern Ireland Water has launched a market engagement exercise in the form of a general market enquiry to identify and engage with suppliers who have the potential to supply and deliver M&E Consumables and Sundries.

NI Water is seeking to assess the interest, capacity and capability of the market in providing these types of goods. The water company is also interested in receiving feedback from the market on the different experiences, approaches and models used in other sectors / utilities for the provision of these goods.

NI Water said it may hold one-to-one supplier engagement meetings in May 2026 and is inviting interested suppliers to submit expression of interest for potentially attending a meeting by emailing  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. It is anticipated that information provided during the potential supplier engagement meetings and also an analysis of completed "Supplier Questionnaire" responses will be used to select the best procurement strategy to deliver this service in the future. Further details about the meetings and an Information Pack will be issued in due course

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 20 January 2027 to 19 January 2030 with possible extension options up to 19 January 2034.

Engagement deadline for interested suppliers is 15 May 2026 - further details about the meetings and an Information Pack will be issued in due course.
