Severn Trent Water has launched a preliminary market engagement exercise for propane bulk supply, delivery and storage.
The water company intends to undertake a competitive regulated procurement for its propane supply, delivery, tank infrastructure, maintenance and associated services. The procurement is expected to establish a closed framework arrangement.
Sister company Severn Trent Green Power Ltd (STGP) has similar operational requirements and intends to coordinate its market engagement and tender exercise alongside STW's. STGP's requirements will be clearly identified as separate.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2031 with further possible extension options up to 31 December 2036.
