Veolia has been awarded the contract by Shell Canada to design and supply a water treatment facility to recycle the water used for steam generation at Shell's Carmon Creek heavy oil project in Alberta, Canada.

Scottish Water has announced its water and waste water infrastructure alliance partners for the forthcoming Quality & Standards IV (Q & S IV) 2015-21 investment period.

Swiss pharmaceutical group Novartis has contracted Veolia to manage its industrial utilities and product support and facility services at fifteen of its largest sites in Europe.

The UK construction industry opened 2014 with its best month for almost six-and-a-half years, according to PMI™ data for January – with house building, commercial activity and civil engineering all see near-record growth rates.

The outlook for the specialist sector is increasingly positive according to the latest NSCC State of Trade Survey, which shows a record high of 60% of respondents are anticipating an increased workload for the upcoming year.
