Thames Water, Britain's biggest water and sewerage firm, has awarded a contract to Black & Veatch to carry out up to £100million of essential work to improve and maintain its sewage and water treatments plants in the Thames Valley region over the next five years.

The Consumer Council for Water is calling on the Government and Ofwat to make sure that money arising from fines on water companies is used for the benefit of consumers.

Workstream 69, an asset management programme encompassing Yorkshire Water's entire asset base, has been awarded to Black & Veatch.

SUEZ gas-emissions-wastewater-treatment 1Southern Water Services Ltd, one of the largest water and wastewater companies in southeast England, has secured the services of SUEZ to support net zero targets by monitoring and quantifying greenhouse gas process emissions.

 £65M AMP5 contract wins for May Gurney

May Gurney Integrated Services plc, the infrastructure services company, announced this morning that it has secured two new long-term AMP5 framework contracts with Wessex Water with a combined value of up to £65 million.
London-based insurance brokers Jardine Lloyd Thompson have won a five year contract to provide Southern Water Services with insurance broking services.

£1.2 billion Thames Water contracts announced

Thames Water, Britain's biggest water and sewerage firm, has announced contract awards for up to £1.2billion of essential work to improve and maintain its ageing water pipes, sewers and other facilities over the next five years.
Galliford Try plc, the housebuilding and construction Group, has announced this morning that its infrastructure business Morrison Construction has, in joint venture with AECOM Design Build, been awarded two streams of Yorkshire Water's AMP5 framework worth approximately £150 million over five years. 
Welsh Water has released tender documents inviting contractors to bid for a framework contract worth up to £156 million.
