The Met Office and the Environment Agency are warning of more rain and the risk of more flooding during the course of this week.

There are currently 29 flood warnings in place for England where flooding is expected, together with 90 flood alerts where flooding is possible.
The forecasters are warning that ongoing local river and surface water flooding impacts are probable in parts of the North West and the Midlands, and possible more widely due to widespread heavy rain. Local river flooding is also possible in Sussex and Southwest England.
There is also the risk that river flooding impacts may continue in the West Midlands and parts of North East England through to Friday, while local groundwater flooding is possible through the next five days in the south of England.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Scotland’s national flood forecasting, flood warning and strategic flood risk management authority, has 5 flood alerts around Scotland, although no flooding is expected over the next two days.
Natural Resources Wales currently has 20 flood alerts in place for Wales warning the public that flooding is possible.
