OFWAT LOGOOfwat has today announced that it is opening enforcement cases into four more water and wastewater companies as part of its ongoing investigation into how companies manage their wastewater treatment works and networks.

Sizewell CThe Environment Agency has opened 2 public consultations on permits for construction at Sizewell C nuclear power station in East Suffolk.   

Environment Agency genericAnglian Water Services Ltd has been ordered to pay over £50,000 for failing, without reasonable excuse, to comply with a requirement to provide records by the Environment Agency. The order includes a £25,000 fine, £190 victim surcharge and £25,000 in costs.

EPA WATER QUALITY REPORT FOR 2023 IN IRELAND - JULY 24The Environmental Protection Agency for Ireland is warning that while water quality in Ireland is very high, the resilience of drinking water supplies must improve and will require sustained investment into the future.
