United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP8 framework contract for submersible pumping stations worth an estimated £3.2 million.

The framework covers the supply of submersible pumping stations to empty sewage detention tanks and will cover all of the company's requirements for this product for AMP8. The pumping stations will be supplied at a maximum depth of 6m and range between 2m and 6m depth.
The water company is looking to appoint two participants to the framework agreement – contract term is 96 months.
