HUBER Technology sees significant increase in Sludge Disc Thickener orders

HUBER Technology, a leading wastewater treatment equipment supplier in the UK & Ireland, has seen a significant increase in orders for their HUBER Disc Thickener S-DISC from UK water companies over the last 6 months.

The company, an expert in liquid/solid separation with a comprehensive line of screening, grit, sludge and anaerobic digestion processes, has seen a growing uptake of the technology, which is now extremely well established for thickening sludge. HUBER said sludge thickening is becoming even more of an issue for water companies who are looking to reduce transport costs and storage on site.

HUBER have recently received orders for the S-Disc at Northern Ireland Water’s Newry and Ballycastle Wastewater Treatment Works and Thames Water’s Chipping Norton Sewage Treatment Works.
