Sutton and East Surrey Water has today announced that following careful consideration, it has accepted Ofwat’s decision on the level of customers’ water bills from 1 April 2015 to 31 March 2020.
This means that the average household water bill will reduce by three percent from the current £186 a year to £180 a year (before inflation) by 2019/20.
The company’s decision concludes the lengthy and complex process to set water bills for the next five years.
Managing Director, Anthony Ferrar said:
“We will now be focusing our attention on delivering the key outcomes highlighted in our Business Plan to ensure they can be delivered within the total cost allowances included in Ofwat’s determination.”
