The Board of Wessex Water Services has announced the appointment of a new managing director and chief operating officer - the appointments take effect from 1 August 2016.
Andy Pymer, currently Director of Regulation and Customer Services, will become Managing Director and James Rider, currently Director of Operations, will become Chief Operating Officer.
The appointments follow a recruitment process led by the independent directors of Wessex Water Services.
The chair of the interview panel, Gillian Camm, said:
"We were very impressed with the calibre of the applicants we interviewed for the managing director role. It is encouraging that the business has such outstanding candidates that measure up very well to the external world."
