Wessex Water and Bristol Water will be at the Blue Monday Fair taking place next week in Bristol to advise people who are struggling with their water bills.
The water companies will be at the event providing advice to customers who are in financial difficulty and making them aware of the various affordability schemes and low rate tariffs that are available to help customers get back on track.
Anna Symonds, customer policy manager at Wessex Water, said:
"We have a range of affordability schemes that can help people get their finances back on track by assisting them with their water bill."We want people to know that there is help and support available and that we have tailored solutions to meet their personal circumstances."
So far, between them the water companies have helped 26,000 people who have problems paying their bills and 90% of people who came to Bristol Water or Wessex Water for help are now debt-free.
