Leading UK data collection, data management and meter maintenance service provider Morrison Data Services has announced the completion of its acquisition of Meter-U, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the EnServe Group.
Predominantly offering services to water utilities, Meter-U’s services include meter reading and data collection services for domestic and non-domestic premises. Other services include meter data management, leakage reporting, client revenue protection and meter replacement activities.
With a field force of over 400 personnel, the company manages the data from four million meters, collecting over 17 million meter reads per annum throughout the UK and Ireland.
Morrison Data Services provides services to all of the major UK energy retailers including data collection services and meter reading, data management and meter installation services, deploying around 3,000 field staff and undertaking over 60 million meter visits per annum.
The firm is a sister company to Morrison Utility Services, the UK’s leading utility service provider working with utility company clients in the electricity, gas, water and telecommunications sectors on infrastructure and networks.
