South Staffs Water has announced two new senior appointments at director level.
Tom Fewster, who has joined as Asset Management and Investment Delivery Director, has a wealth of experience managing major projects and programmes in the water sector, as well as in the renewable energy and environmental sectors.
Early in his career he was a project manager for capital projects at the Environment Agency , before working in renewable energy sector initially for United Utilities and then at RES Group.
At RES Group he managed project programmes in wind, solar and utility scale battery storage. For the last six years he has been a capital programme manager at United Utilities for major capital projects primarily in the waste water function.
Dan Rhodes has also joined South Staffs as Customer Delivery Director. He was previously head of customer service at Morrison Water Services, where he implemented a change program to deliver a superior, customer experience for all customers. This won the Institute of Customer Service Best Customer Satisfaction Strategy 2019. He has also held roles at Severn Trent and Morrison Utility Services.
In his new role, he will be leading the teams responsible for delivering an excellent service for customers, both household and retailers; overseeing customer and retailer experience (C-Mex and R-Mex), customer operations, communications, change programmes and new innovations.
