Welsh Water to invest £10m in new treatment works

 

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is to invest £10 million in building a new water treatment works at the site of the existing Llyn Conwy works.

The scheme will help to ensure the excellent drinking water supply to customers in the area.

Subject to planning permission being secured, work is anticipated to start later this year and will take approximately two years complete.

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water’s Capital delivery manager, Simon Cowen said:

"Our £10 million investment is essential to ensure we continue to provide customers in the area with a first class drinking water supply.”
