United Utilities (UU) has selected the 12 suppliers that have been successful in the Pre-Qualification application for its AMP6 Construction Delivery Partner (CDP) Framework Agreement.
After the water company hosted a supplier day on 24 April, interested parties had until 6 June to submit a formal request to participate. The successful suppliers from the Pre-Qualification application were then invited to attend an Invitation to Negotiation (ITN) launch event on 26 July 2013.
The suppliers, including several joint ventures, are as follows:
- Balfour Beatty/MWH
- Black & Veatch/Farrans
- Carillion
- Costain
- Enterprise/Jacobs
- Galliford Try/AECOM
- Kier/Veolia
- Laing O’Rourke/Atkins/Imtech
- Murphy/Interserve
- Mott MacDonald Bentley
- Nomenca/Barhale
- Volker Stevin/CH2M Hill
UU intends to appoint up to five partners to the CDP framework, which could be worth up to £3 billion.
The agreements will commence in 2014 with an initial term of 5 years for the AMP6 period and with optional extensions up to a further 7 years.
