As the UK’s implementation of the Water Framework Directive (WFD) gathers pace, water companies and industry will need to make wastewater treatment and management a priority, says Air Products.

Draft Climate Change Bill published

The Government’s blueprint for tackling climate change was published yesterday.
Environment Secretary, David Miliband, today welcomed the carbon-cutting measures in the Chancellor’s Budget as the next steps towards a low-carbon economy.

Top honours awarded to best water savers

The Malvern Hotel and The Blues Grill in Kent was today presented with the top award in the 2007 Environment Agency Water Efficiency Awards for its efforts in saving water and raising awareness to customers and other hotel owners.
The Environment Agency remains to be convinced that Thames Water needs to build a new reservoir to the south west of Abingdon.
