Irish Water will start work this month on site investigation work to progress two separate projects.

Heronbridge pipelineUnited Utilities is nearing completion on a massive £7 million engineering project taking place deep underground  to boost water supplies in parts of Cheshire and Merseyside.

Irish Water has completed an upgrade to the storm tank at its Kinnegad Wastewater Treatment Plant which will ensure that the utility is fully compliant with EU Urban Wastewater Directives.

Portsmouth Water chargesPortsmouth Water has published details of the wholesale charges for 2017-18 which will apply in the new non-household retail market which opens for business in April.

Irish Water is currently preparing to lodge a planning application for the upgrading of the existing Water Treatment Plant at Glenties-Ardara to secure clean, safe drinking water for the people of the area.

The Board of Portsmouth Water has confirmed that there will be no significant change to customers bills in 2017/18.

Severn Trent Water is progressing with work on the delivery of two projects worth a combined total of around £6.5 million.

Wessex Water and Bristol Water will be at the Blue Monday Fair taking place next week in Bristol to advise people who are struggling with their water bills.

Irish Water is progressing  with upgrade work at its Shannon Wastewater treatment works working in partnership with Clare County Council.

Scottish Water limits 2017 price hike to 1.6%

Scottish Water has today confirmed that an increase in household charges is again being limited to 1.6% across all council tax bands – around £6 a year for the average household, providing stability in charges for customers.
