Imperial Innovations Group plc has announced the formation of Inflowmatix,  a spin-out from Imperial College London that will provide water flow and system health analytics to water utilities worldwide.

Market Operator Services Ltd, the company set up to deliver the operational capability needed to support the efficient operation of the new competitive retail market when it opens in April 2017, is poised for a significant expansion of its business team.

In its Annual Review for England and Wales 2014/15 published today, the Consumer Council for Water has described the 2014 Price Review as a “victory for the voice of the customer”, but warned that bills for Thames Water customers will be inflated by the cost of building the Thames Tideway Tunnel, with further increases in the pipeline.

Swindon residents and businesses reduced their daily water use by more than 1.7 million litres last year – exceeding Thames Water’s Save Water Swindon 1 million litres campaign target.

South East Water has published its Annual Performance Report for 2014-15 outlining how it has performed on a range of measures to ensure customers are receiving a good level of service.
