Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, has today announced a further profit shortfall of approximately £75 million in Construction Services UK in its latest trading update.

Thirty young people from Cumbria to Cheshire have landed apprenticeships with United Utilities.

South East Water is encouraging its customers to play a part in shaping their future contact via a major survey initiative - the water company has issued around 50,000 questionnaires to customers and the survey is also available online.

Itron and i2O Water announce new alliance

US- headquartered Itron, Inc. has announced a new alliance with i2O Water, the UK-based world leader in smart pressure management for water networks.

Severn Trent Water is to invest almost £1 million pounds into work to install larger sewers and a new pumping station at Westwoodside near Scunthorpe to prevent future sewer flooding in the area.
