Thames Water tenders AMP6 £16m filtration plant equipment contract

Thames Water has gone out to tender with an AMP6 million filtration plant equipment contract worth up to £16 million which could run for up to 10 years.

The water company is looking to appoint up to ten suppliers to the framework agreement to provide filtration equipment and services across the whole Thames Water region.

The tender is in two lots which are further divided into sub-lots:

Lot 1 — Supply of Filtration Equipment including: Disc Filters, Pile Cloth Media Filters, Nitrifying Continuous Sand Filters, Submerged Aerated Filters and Nitrifying Submerged Aerated Filters and similar. Supply of assets also includes delivery, commissioning and supply of spare parts.

Lot 2 — Filtration Equipment Services including: Chemical Cleaning of Disc Filters, refurbishment services for Disc Filters, Pile Cloth Media Filters, Continuous Flow Sand Filters, Nitrifying Continuous Sand Filters, and Low Head Sand Filters and alike.

Any agreement awarded would be for an initial duration of 3 years, with options to extend annually up to a maximum overall term of 10 years.
