The Welsh Government has gone out to tender for a wide range of civil engineering consultancy services under a contract worth up to £60 million.
The Welsh Ministers National Procurement Service is procuring the framework which will be available to use by NPS member organisations. The National Procurement Service was set up as a cross public sector collaboration to procure common and repetitive spend for Wales.
NPS members include all Welsh local authorities, the NHS, police forces, fire services, higher and further education, the Welsh Government and Welsh Government sponsored bodies.
NPS is looking to appoint up to 350 suppliers to the NPS Construction Consultancy Additional Services Framework — Phase 3 contract, which wil run for 4 years and is worth between £20 million to £60 million.
Tenderers are being invited to bid to become a member of the Framework Agreement, which consists of the following disciplines:
1. Geotechnical Consultancy
2. Ground and Water Contamination Consultancy
3. Utility Consultancy
4. Master Planning/Urban Design
5. Nuclear Consultancy
6. Health and Safety Consultancy
7. Archaeological/Cultural Heritage Consultancy
8. CEEQUAL Assessments
9. Facilities Management Consultancy
10. Residential Development Professional Services
