Anglian Water tenders drilling contract worth up to £5m

Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for groundwater borehole drilling worth up to £5 million.

The water company is looking to appoint a maximum of two suppliers to the framework contract, which has an estimated value of £1 million to £5 million.

The borehole construction must comply with WRc Well Construction Specification for the Water Industry.Anglian Water said it anticipated that 1 or 2 boreholes will be constructed to a depth of up to 300 m each year with the possibility of further deeper boreholes being required.

The initial framework term will be for  2 years with 4 further optional 1 year extensions available.
