NI Water tenders £3m chlorination equipment and spares contract

NI Water has gone out to tender with a contract for chlorination equipment and spare parts worth up to £3 million.

This contract is for the supply, delivery, installation/minor refurbishment and maintenance of existing chlorination equipment and spare parts within NI Water's sites across Northern Ireland.

The water company’s M and E Services division is responsible for the maintenance of this equipment,  providing technical advice and expertise as well as coordinating the day-to-day maintenance activities of the associated front-line maintenance teams. M and E Services is also responsible for the management of all operational activities with regard to statutory compliance.

Estimated value of the contract, which is divided into Lots, is put at between £1.5 million to £3 million.
