M&N wins 2 year extension to PPM framework agreement with Anglian Water

Anglian Water has confirmed a two year extension to its existing PPM framework agreement with additional scope for a wider portfolio of related plant with inlet works specialists, M&N Electrical & Mechanical Services Ltd.

Originally granted in 2012, the initial agreement saw M&N responsible for the service and maintenance of just 210 screens. Over the framework period the remit has grown to incorporate a substantial 980 items of Inlet Works equipment across 445 Anglian Water sites.

Set to run until 2019, M&N’s wider scope includes maintenance of compactors and the ability to add conveyors, washwater systems and macerators.

M&N’s dedicated Manningtree team provide 24/7, 365 day support across the Anglian Water region, backed up by the resources of the company’s 4 additional operational hubs strategically placed throughout the UK.

Commenting on the extension agreement, M&N’s General Manager Stuart Spinney said:

“We have a strong track record working with Anglian Water to ensure the framework PPM programme on its network of Inlet Works is efficient and effective. The expansion to our PPM framework agreement is a welcome endorsement of the operational and cost benefits we have delivered to date. We look forward to delivering these benefits to the wider range of related equipment moving forward.”

The company’s service and maintenance teams utilise a comprehensive fleet of servicing vehicles and extensive in-house OEM spares provision to carry out work on site. Where necessary M&N’s in-house heavy lifting and haulage capabilities ensure that equipment can be removed from site to a number of appropriate workshop facilities without the need to rely on 3rd party involvement.

Anthony Brittain, Anglian Water’s Service Contracts & Spares Manager added:

“Our long-standing relationship with M&N is a result of their professionalism and results driven culture. They have consistently delivered and enabled us to maintain our focus on implementing robust cost avoidance strategies. Our Inlet Works operate at optimum capacity thanks to the dedication and attention to detail of the M&N team to our asset maintenance programme.”
