Scottish Water has awarded a contract for the supply and installation of fixed standby generators worth an estimated £1.8 million.
The contract has been awarded to Glasgow- based Dieselec Thistle Generators Ltd –one of six companies who bid for the contract.
Subject to satisfactory performance Scottish Water has the ability to extend the framework into the next regulatory period - the contract could run for up to 12 years.
