Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for chemical disinfection and dosing equipment with an estimated total value of £14.24 million.
Thames Water Utilities Limited intends to award one or more agreements for the supply, installation, parts, inspection and maintenance of chemical dosing and disinfection equipment used in water production and waste treatment processes, directly or on its behalf by its contractors.
The contract is being tendered in four Lots:
Lot 1. Gas Disinfection Equipment (supply, installation, upgrades and provision of spare parts) - £4.9 million
Lot 2. Liquid Disinfection Equipment (supply, installation, upgrades and provision of spare parts). £2.1 million
Lot 3. Chlorine Analysers (supply, installation, provision of spare parts and annual maintenance). £240,000
Lot 4. Wastewater Process Chemical Dosing Equipment (supply, installation, upgrades, provision of spare parts). £7 million
Thames Water envisages that the contract will be awarded for an initial term of 3 years with options to extend up to a maximum duration of 7 years.
