Thames Water has gone out to tender with a contract for pump systems optimisation and efficiencies worth an estimated £6 million.
The water company intends to award 1 or more agreements for services on pump systems optimisation and efficiencies framework. This will apply across both water and waste-water systems, directly or on its behalf by its contractors and all products must be suitable for use in both potable and waste water applications.
The contract is being tendered in Lots - Lot 1 Pumping Systems Optimisation covers the testing and proposal of the supply, installation and upgrades of pumping systems in optimisation projects used in both water and waste-water pumping processes.
Lot 2 covers engineering delivery of supply, installation and upgrades of pumping systems in optimisation projects used in both water and waste-water pumping processes.
Thames Water envisages that the contract will be awarded for an initial term of 3 years with further extension options up to a maximum duration of 8 years.
