The Environment Agency has gone out to tender with a contract for low power remote image collection cameras worth an estimated £2 million.
The Agency is looking to procure low power still images cameras to monitor remote flood defence assets along with a data and hosting service.
Up to 6 suppliers could be appointed to the framework, which is primarily intended to meet the needs of the Environment Agency. However, the Agency may require the successful bidders to provide the services/works on the same terms that are agreed as a result of this tender to other organisations, including the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and to its associated bodies.
