Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for Water Industry National Environment Programme (WINEP) Invasive Non-native Species consultancy work worth an estimated £1.1 million.
Under the Programme, water companies will need to understand the key pathways of spread of Invasive Non-native Species ( INNS) through their assets and catchments, and how the risk of spread through the pathways can be mitigated.
