United Utilities is seeking market input on insurance services capabilities ahead of going out to tender with a framework contract for an employee healthcare scheme.
The water company currently provides an Employee Healthcare Scheme consisting of both private medical insurance and cash plan benefits to around 4330 employees.
United Utilities is now looking to potential suppliers for input in order to:
- establish the market’s capability to provide and manage the current scheme
- invite engagement to discuss alternative schemes or additional services whilst maintaining the original scheme elements as closely as possible
