NI Water has awarded a contract for preventative and reactive maintenance of high voltage equipment worth an estimated £1.8 million in total.
The water company has appointed Ballymena-based firm GES Group to provide preventative and reactive maintenance of high voltage equipment currently within NI Water Alpha’s asset base.
The contractor will be responsible for providing the necessary skilled and unskilled labour together with the materials to carry out the work.
Initial contract term is 4 years with four further one year extension options.
GES Group was one of three companies in the bidding for the work.
