North Yorkshire County Council has gone out to tender with a civil engineering framework contract worth an estimated £220 million.

The works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work awarded under the framework will predominantly take place on bridges and highway network.
Potential works include:
- resurfacing
- reconstruction
- slurry sealing
- drainage works
- kerbing
- repairs to bridges
- retaining walls and culverts
The geographical scope of the framework is North and West Yorkshire and covers the locations associated with NYCC and other Yorkshire Highways Alliance (YHA) members, namely:
- City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council;
- Leeds City Council;
- Wakefield Council;
- Kirklees Council;
- City of York Council;
- Calderdale Council.
Estimated total value of the framework, which is being tendered in four separate Lots, is £220,000,000.
North Yorkshire County Council is looking to appoint multiple suppliers to the framework, which will run for four years.
