Public sector owned Scape Procure Ltd, the built environment specialist supplier of framework solutions, is starting a pre-procurement market engagement phase prior to going out to formal tender with a separate £750 million regional construction framework contract notice.

Scape has issued a Prior Information Notice to starting the pre-procurement phase for a wide range of construction works and services through a series of market awareness events during the week commencing Monday 21st June 2021.
Scape will inform the supply chain via the market awareness sessions about their upcoming procurement and provide an opportunity to consult with and receive feedback from potential suppliers.
In the formal procurement process to follow, applications will be invited from suitably experienced suppliers of construction works and services who can provide high quality services using a customer focused approach.

Works and services Scape will source under the wide-ranging framework include:
- Construction work
- Structural products
- Modular and portable buildings
- Site preparation work
- Test drilling and boring work
- Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work
- Engineering works and construction works
- Construction work for water projects
- Plumbing and sanitary works
- Engineering services
- Energy and related services
- Urban planning and landscape architectural services
- Construction-related services
- Consulting services for water-supply and waste consultancy
The contract is is being tendered in the following eight separate Lots:
Lot 1 - North West (West Northamptonshire, Derby, North Northamptonshire, East Derbyshire, Leicestershire CC and Rutland, South and West Derbyshire, Staffordshire CC, Warwickshire, Leicester)
Lot 2 - North West (West Northamptonshire, Derby, North Northamptonshire, East Derbyshire, Leicestershire CC and Rutland, South and West Derbyshire, Staffordshire CC, Warwickshire, Leicester)
Lot 3 - North East (Leicestershire CC and Rutland, Nottingham, North Nottinghamshire, South Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, North and North East Lincolnshire)
Lot 4 - North East (Leicestershire CC and Rutland, Nottingham, North Nottinghamshire, South Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, North and North East Lincolnshire)
Lot 5 - South West (Essex, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire)
Lot 6 - South West (Essex, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire)
Lot 7 - South East (Breckland and South Norfolk, Cambridgeshire CC, Suffolk, North and West Norfolk, Norwich and East Norfolk)
Lot 8 - South East (Breckland and South Norfolk, Cambridgeshire CC, Suffolk, North and West Norfolk, Norwich and East Norfolk)

600 public bodies currently make active use of Scape’s suite of fully performance managed construction, consultancy and civil engineering frameworks, design solutions and property services.
The market awareness sessions will be undertaken via webinars and interested parties must register their interest prior to the events.
Estimated date of publication of the formal contract notice is 16th August 2021.
