The Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has gone out to tender with a contract to measure and value ecosystem contribution to water quality in the UK.

Defra is seeking to improve the policy relevance of the UK's Natural Capital accounts by quantifying and valuing nature’s contribution to clean water supply. This will help to meet the Government’s 25 year Environment Plan commitment to the development of comprehensive UK accounts.
Interested suppliers will need to be registered with the Defra Network eTendering Portal to participate in the tender process.
Anticipated contract start date is 1 November 2021 with an end date of 31 March 2022.
