United Utilities tenders £21.6m AMP7 contract for wastewater inlet screens, river intake & CSO screens

United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7 framework contract for wastewater inlet screens, river intake & CSO screens worth an estimated £21.6 million.

UNITED UTILITIES van generic

Scope of services covers the servicing & repair of both water & wastewater inlet screens, network & CSO screens, river intake and pumping stations. It also includes all the screenings handling equipment with the exception of wash water supply/pumping systems/skids/pump sets which are already covered by existing frameworks.

The contract, which covers both planned and reactive activities, is being tendered in the following Lots:

Lot 1 Inlet Screens & Screen Handling Equipment (£12,960,000)

Lot 2 Network & CSO Screens - Powered & Non Powered (£5,400,000)

Lot 3 River Intake/Pumping Stations & Raw Water Screens (£3,240,000)

Initial contract term is 4 year contract with options to extend for a further 4 years in 12 months increments.
