United Utilities is seeking supply chain input ahead of going out to tender with a multi million pound AMP7 contract for engineering resources, programme management and commercial resources.

The water company has issued a Periodic Indicative Notice inviting suppliers to register their interest in the upcoming tender, which will cover engineering resources, resource orders and project based works packages across multiple engineering disciplines.
Interested will be able to join by showing evidence of resource and expertise in the listed fields, and submit cross-discipline experience or expertise.
United Utilities proposed procurement will be for an Engineering Resources DPS split across two lots:
Lot 1 Engineering Resources Resource orders & project based works packages
The list of services to be provided under the contract is currently expected to include:
- Process Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Hydraulic Modelling
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Asset Information or BIM
Lot 2 Programme Management & Commercial Resources
The list of services to be provided under the contract is currently expected to include:
- Programme Manager
- Project Manager (construction)
- Construction Supervisor
- 3rd Party Advisor
- Project Controller
- Quantity Surveyor
- Contract Formulator
- Contract Manager
Interested companies are being asked to respond to the Periodic Indicative Notice by completing and returning a Supplier Competency Matrix, together with a submission of interest, by 3pm on 11th March 2022.
Estimated date of publication of the formal contract notice is 28 March 2022.
