United Utilities tenders £17.6 million AMP7/8 waste services contract for grit, screenings and refuse waste

United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7/8 waste services framework contract for grit, screenings and refuse waste worth an estimated £17.6 million.

The tender covers provision of comprehensive and reliable waste recycling and transportation services for all of the water company’s grits, screenings and refuse waste including the provision of bins, containers and skips for all sites, across the following 4 Lots:

  • Lot 1- North £1,840,000
  • Lot 2 - Central £4,640,000
  • Lot 3 - East £6,400,000
  • Lot 4 - West £5,440,000

 

The water company is looking to appoint up to four suppliers to the framework agreement which will run for a 96 month term with no extension options.
