Anglian Water is inviting interested suppliers to participate in a market engagement exercise ahead of tendering a £6 million AMP8 contract for Client Side Assurance Services.
The framework covers broader Client-Side Assurance Services, including cost verification, risk management, contract compliance, value-for-money assessment, and supply chain oversight.
It is intended to enhance internal controls, service defensible commercial decision-making, and ensure that capital and operational programmes are delivered in line with agreed budgets, timelines, and quality standards.
The water company said that together, the services will contribute to the integrity, transparency, and regulatory readiness of its commercial operations, supporting both internal governance and external accountability.
The contract will run for an initial period of five years, with an option to extend for a further three years. The total estimated expenditure over the full potential eight-year duration is £6 million
Anglian is looking to establish an open framework – a series of frameworks with substantially the same terms where warded suppliers are carried over and new suppliers can bid.
Current estimated art and end contract dates are 7 December 2025 to 7 December 2030 with a possible extension option to 1 December 2033.
Anglian Water expects to publish a formal tender notice in September 2025
The purpose of the pre-market engagement exercise is to gather feedback from the market to help inform and shape the potential procurement strategy and scope of the upcoming framework. Participation does
not form part of any subsequent evaluation process. However, supplier insights will play an important role in helping to refine the approach and ensure the proposed framework is commercially attractive, viable, and fit for purpose
Interested suppliers are invited to participate by completing a short questionnaire. To access the questionnaire, suppliers must first register on the portal (if not already registered). Once registered, participants will be able to download the engagement documents, review the outline strategy, and respond to the questions provided.
All responses must be submitted via the Scanmarket Portal – click here to access the Portal.
