Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender on behalf of itself and sister company Hafren Dyfrdwy with a contract for asbestos services with an estimated value of £6 million (inc VAT).
The contract is being tendered in two separate Lots – scope of services to be provided include:
- Lot 1- identification, sampling, re-inspection and analysis of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) and management of removal contactors including tendering activity in non-domestic & domestic buildings within Severn Trent Water and Hafren Dyfrdwy .
- Lot 2- Repair or removal of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) in non-domestic & domestic buildings within Severn Trent Water and Hafren Dyfrdwy .
Current estimated start and end dates for the contract are 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029 with further possible extension options up to 31 March 2031.
Deadline to submit enquiries about the contract is 11:59pm on 10 September 2025 and tender submission deadline 11:59pm on 19 September 2025.
