United Utilities has awarded an AMP8 framework contract for supply and delivery of strategic process chemicals.
The contract was tendered in the following Lots:
- Lot 1 - Caustic Soda
- Lot 2 - Phosphoric Acid
- Lot 3 - Multiple Strategic Process Chemicals
- Lot 4 - Hydrogen Peroxide
Lot 3 includes Sodium Hypochlorite (Bulk and Packaged), Sulphuric Acid (Bulk and Packaged), Chlorine Drums, Ammonium Sulphate, Adblue, Ferric Sulphate (Packaged), Sodium Thiosulphate and miscellaneous chemicals.
Initial agreement term is 5 years with three further potential annual extension options.
Brenntag UK Ltd, Airedale Chemical Company Ltd and Industrial Chemicals Ltd have all been awarded contracts under the framework, which was tenderd via Achilles Information Ltd’s Utilities Vendor Data Base (UVDB) qualification system.
