Through the new framework United Utilities has increased the numbers of its MCC supply chain partners to six. Following a competitive tender process, Lloyd Morris, WH Good, RSE, Quantum, Cema and Bridges have been appointed.

MCC panels are critical for the successful operation of major assets in both water and wastewater networks. United Utilities said the framework secures a robust supply chain to provide a range of modularised products and as well as bespoke solutions.

With a focus on improved efficiencies including shorter lead times the MCC partners will play a crucial role in delivering the scale of capital projects being delivered in AMP8 and support business as usual requirements.

Jane Simpson, Capital Delivery Director at United Utilities, said:

“MCC panels play an incredibly important role in helping us deliver water and wastewater services to three million people across the North West.

“AMP8 sees us delivering an unprecedented level of investment upgrading and introducing new infrastructure. It is vital that we are supported by partners who can develop bespoke solutions where needed yet also help us establish a suite of modularised products for adoption.”
