Belfast-based firm Translink has awarded a contract for drainage and interceptor maintenance services with an estimated value of £10 million (ex VAT).

The transport operator was looking to to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to be responsible for the provision of assessment, surveying and maintenance of drainage infrastructure, and emergency spill response services. Services to be provided include the compilation and labelling of assets within the Translink Estate.
Mcallister Bros Ltd, Amelio Utilities Ltdand ENVA Ireland Ltd has all been awarded contracts under the framework, three of four companies in the bidding for the work.
Initial contract term is four years with four further annual potential extension options.
