United Utilities seeks market engagement with interested suppliers ahead of tendering £30m AMP8 contract for screens and associated equipment

United Utilities has launched a market engagement exercise to engage with interested suppliers ahead of going out to tender with a £30 million (inc VAT) AMP8 contract for the supply, delivery, commissioning of screens and associated equipment.

The water company is seeking to understand how information can help drive the next strategy for all screens including coarse, fine, band, combined CSO powered, CSO static, transfer equipment, treatment equipment and spares supporting new and legacy kit.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2028.

Deadline for interested suppliers to participate in the engagement process is 6 February 2026 – click here for further information.

United Utilities expects to go out to tender with a formal contract notice at the end of March 2026.
