Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the supply and delivery of hand tools, power tools and ancillaries with a total estimated value of £1.992 million including VAT.

The water company is looking to appoint two suppliers to supply and deliver hand tools, power tools and ancillaries.
Hand tools and ancillaries required under this contract includes:
- hammers, saws, screwdrivers, ratchets, wrenches, spanners, oils, lubricants and batteries.
Power tools required under this contract includes:
- cordless drills, cordless angle grinders, cordless impact drivers, cordless jigsaws, angle grinders, extension leads and replacement batteries.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 2 November 2026 to 1 November 2028 with further possible extension options up to 1 November 2032. Estimated award decision date is currently 30 October 2026.
Deadline for submission of enquiries about the tender is 12:00pm on 1 July 2026 and deadline for requests to participate is 12:00pm on 8 July 2026.
