The Environmental Audit Committee membership for the 2019 Parliament has been agreed by the House of Commons.

The Chair and Members of the Committee are:

  • Philip Dunne MP (Chair) (Conservative)
  • Duncan Baker (Conservative)
  • Feryal Clark (Labour)
  • Sir Christopher Chope (Conservative)
  • Mr Robert Goodwill (Conservative)
  • Ian Levy (Conservative)
  • Marco Longhi (Conservative)
  • Caroline Lucas (Green Party)
  • Jerome Mayhew (Conservative)
  • Kerry McCarthy (Labour)
  • John McNally (Scottish National)
  • Dr Matthew Offord (Conservative)
  • Alex Sobel (Labour (Co-op))
  • Mr Shailesh Vara (Conservative)
  • Claudia Webbe (Labour)
  • Nadia Whittome (Labour)

The Committee Chairs were elected by a secret ballot of all MPs in January 2020. The members of committees are then selected by their parties through an internal ballot, for agreement by the House.

The allocation of chairs and the membership of select committees broadly reflects the balance of political parties in the House.
