i2O Water has announced the launch of Smart Pressure Management, the first technology platform that provides all levels of pressure management within one unified solution.
Smart Pressure Management gives water utilities the flexibility and agility to implement the right level of pressure control for each area in the network at that point in time. The highest levels of intelligence and automation deliver the most precise control of network pressures available, reducing the excess pressure that increases leakage and burst frequency and reduces the lifespan of the network.
With the launch of Smart Pressure Management all of the functionality required to implement a range of different pressure management strategies on a network wide basis are available to the utilities for the first time on a single, scalable, rapidly deployed platform.
Adam Kingdon, CEO and co-founder of i2O Water, commented:
“The second generation of i2O technology provides water companies with unprecedented precision in water pressure control. We've made the logging and control hardware even more intelligent, and smaller and easier to install. While our new software offers easy to use, easy to integrate tools to monitor and control pressure across the network.”
“The performance of water distribution networks can be incredibly complex. Different areas require different levels of control to deliver the optimum pressure in the most cost effective way. By providing accessible network intelligence, combined with the remote control, and automatic optimisation of pressure , we have developed the most comprehensive, high-performance pressure management technology platform ever created.”
i2O's technology is already being used by 66 water companies worldwide in hundreds of water networks across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and South America to reduce operational and capital expenditure and enhance customer service. Founded in 2005, i2O Water’s UK customers include South East Water, Affinity Water, Severn Trent, Yorkshire Water and Anglian Water.
HUBER Technology UK & Ireland are inviting people to register for their March webinar where they will be providing information about HUBER water intake screens for municipal and industrial applications.
