Machinefabriek Bosker en Zonen BV (Bosker) underlined its global reach with the headline ‘Bosker Rakes The World’ at the Netherlands Aqua Trade Fair this week.
The three-day event that is being held from 13-15 Mar 2018 March in Gorinchem, Holland showcases the latest innovations in the field of wastewater treatment.
Pictured centre, Mick Burton of Jacopa explains the features of the company’s Raked Bar Screen.
Bosker has been designing, building and installing low-maintenance trash rake machines since the 1960s. The company’s equipment which is a globally recognised and respected solution for removing debris effectively is available in the UK and Ireland from wastewater specialists Jacopa who shared the stand with Bosker.
And Jacopa’s long-standing close relationship with Bosker has been cemented with an agreement for Bosker to represent Jacopa’s premier Jones + Attwood (J+A) product line in the Netherlands. The J+A brand is synonymous with reliability and robustness, and the extensive range of products includes the well known and widely installed Washpactor system, tough, reliable screw classifiers and the high-performance JETA grit trap.
On the stand Jacopa’s Mick Burton demonstrated the company’s Raked Bar Screen which is ideally suited to both new and existing Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) chambers where high frequency spills can be expected.
Its modular design is ideal for retrofit installations (requiring little or no civil work to the existing CSO chamber) and allows the unit to be assembled below ground through just a 600mm diameter manhole.
