There are still a handful of places left on the Anglian Water WIN Business in AMP6 event in Peterborough on October 30th.
The event, which is being delivered by the Water Innovation Network - a partnership initiative between economic development company Opportunity Peterborough and Anglian Water – will look at changes and challenges in the water industry over the next five years. Delegates will get expert advice on how Anglian Water is looking to work collaboratively with engineering partners and innovators through the Water Innovation Network.
The half-day event will feature speakers from Anglian Water including Chris Newsome, Director of Asset Management; Steve Kaye, Head of Innovation; Jason Tucker, Head of Supply Chain; and Graham Fulton, Totex Programme Leader.
Nilam Patel, from the Water Innovation Network, said:
“We’ve had a great response from suppliers and innovators in the engineering and water industries who want to get the inside track on what Anglian Water is looking for in this business period.
“We’re expecting a packed half day with lots of inspiration, information and a great opportunity for networking. There’s still a small number of places left so make sure to book now for what could prove to be the start of a new exciting and profitable collaboration for your business.”
The Water Innovation Network is designed to drive innovation in the water industry by bringing forward solutions from businesses that can help the sector meet current and future challenges. The network, which was established in 2010, now has more than 700 business members that have collectively contributed hundreds of innovations that respond to Anglian Water’s business challenges.
The WIN Business in AMP6 event will cover the recent changes introduced to regulation and business practices, including the new performance measures linking to Outcome Delivery Incentives (ODIs), the opening of a competitive market for non-domestic customers in 2017 and the shift from a focus on capital to ‘whole life’ (known as Totex) expenditure. There will also be information on how Anglian Water will alter the way it works with companies in the supply chain and how the company will identify and bring forward innovative solutions.
The event is open to all businesses, but spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. For full event details including prices, times and the latest agenda, please visit www.waterinnovation.net or call 01733 317426
