Northumbrian Water has appointed utilities expert Kieran Ingram as its new Water Director.
Kieran joins the Northumbrian Water Group from Thames Water, where he was director for the Thames Valley and Home Counties areas leading a team which delivered record operational performance on leakage and service interruptions.
He also brings experience from BT Openreach, where he played a key leadership role in connecting and maintaining the UK’s largest broadband network.
In his new role he is responsible for overseeing the company's water operations, ensuring the reliable supply of clean water to 4.5 million customers across the North East of England, Essex, Suffolk and parts of London.
Kieran Ingram started with the company earlier this month where he has also been at the forefront of the company’s water resource planning, as experts predict another dry summer ahead for the majority of the UK.
He said:
